Thanksgiving in Europe.

i remember all the questions i got from friends and family back home last year in sweden if i would prepare a thanksgiving meal for my swedish family. the answer to that was "YEA, RIGHT."

so this year i decided to rise to the challenge. after research, recipe readings, eola's wild goose chase (we ate an amazing duck in the end), sweet potato races at the grocery store, fresh cranberry sauce (with massachusetts cranberries, (which are harvested underwater, not grown. -i guess i was excited about the water part!)), and about five and a half hours of prep and cooking,  i would say we had a pretty successful thanksgiving dinner!

                            

(yes theresa kulig, you will be happy to know i used the extra cranberries to make little candle bogs!)
